Opinions on EasyDNS for mail hosting
I have been wondering about using EasyDNS as a one-stop shop for domain registration and mail hosting. Any opinions on their web interface? Is the price fair?
The main problem at the moment is that I can't even figure out what exactly they offer in mail hosting and at what price. Their other services are advertised much more visibly. |

Hello,
Easy DNS is known to have a lot of DOS attacks. Just thought you would like to know. David |

So what is the consequence of this? Is it that people who register a domain name with easyDNS may sometimes be unable to send and receive email with that domain name?

you will most likely see significant delays in sending and receiving e-mail and have trouble accessing the site. Take a look at their status blog: http://blog.easydns.org/category/status/ David Last edited by EdinwolfPA : 13 Oct 2014 at 12:17 PM. |

Is easyDNS targeted more than other registrars for some reason?

I just got an email saying they're upgrading their mail hosting and raising their prices.

easyDNS does provide excellent DNS service and they do a lot to mitigate DDoS issues that affect the majority of DNS providers. For those interested, these posts shed some more light on this:
