Then go to freenet.de
They have fn.de and xyz.de
Which are short enough for your email addresses.

fn.de is neat, but if it risks that non-Germans are locked out of the service, then it's not worth it.

I miss good old k.st and another extremely short one based in Poland (wasn't it w.pl ?)

Proton offers pm.me as email domain, which is also very short. I also like qq.com
