Paid Providers with Support for EAS?
Looking for a reliable paid provider with support for EAS (or Z-Push) for use with BES10. Preferably one with a strong privacy policy. Services outside of the US is a bonus, but not a requirement. Dislike Zoho and waiting on a EuMX gift account to test with. Any other suggestions?

Polaris is definitely an option. However, their maximum two-week sync policy might be too limiting, especially considering that we will not be syncing anything other than email per our IT policy.

LuxSci.com has AcriveSync support which works quite well.

In addition to Polarismail, Rackspace email may be a good option (not their Exchange hosting..the regular webmail with activesync). I'm not sure of their privacy policies but they are based in the US.
Edit to add a couple more: Apps4rent: Hosted Smartermail with free Activesync - MobileSyncMail - http://www.apps4rent.com/email-hosting.html Namecheap - Business mailbox - https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/email.aspx (they have a free 2 month trial) And since you only need to sync mail, NuevaSync (http://www.nuevasync.com/) would allow you to use activesync with any imap mailbox. Thank for the suggestions everyone. NuevaSync is out of the running as I would rather not have an intermediary between the provider and BES10. Though I have yet to inquire as to the maximum sync timeframe, another option I have been considering is Network Solutions hosted email with ActiveSync (not their Exchange hosted option). Free for the first billing cycle of new mailboxes and $1.99 per month thereafter. Privacy policy is likely lax, however.

What I do not like about Zoho is their spotty ActiveSync (for free accounts at least) and the following sections from their privacy policy:
"Zoho will have access to third party personal information provided by you as part of using Zoho Services such as contacts in your Zoho Mail account. This information may include third party names, email addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses..." "We may need to disclose Personal Information to our affiliates, service providers and business partners solely for the purpose of providing Zoho Services to you." One can argue that the terms have been taken out of context, but the fact remains that my data can and likely will be mined and delivered to a third-party to sell me something that I do not need. FYI, EUMX pushed through BES10 without a single hiccup. Reasonable pricing, no sync timeframe limitations and support for Sieve. Support via email has been good, all questions have been answered in a timely manner so far. Last edited by adamlau : 12 May 2014 at 02:52 AM. Reason: Clarification |

LuxSci does not limit your synching based on message age. The only limit on email synchronized with ActiveSync is that we will only sync at most the newest 500 email messages in each folder. That is generally more than enough for most mobile purposes.

Add Mail.be to the list of providers with support for EAS (Advanced subscription and above).
