Fastmail with Android
Hello old friends, its been a while!
I'm running a Galaxy sii on ICS and want to access my FM inbox. Ive used K9 Mail for the last couple of years on my old phone, and whilst its good it has a number of limitations, chief amongst which is no access to the address book. Anyway, I'm hoping time will have moved on and there will be some progress on the remote access front. Any suggestions welcome. Steve |

Welcome back Steve
I use K-9 Mail on a Samsung Galaxy Note, and have no problem in accessing my addressbook, which I synchronise with Outlook using MyPhoneExplorer. NJSS |

No,
Fastmail still has no way of syncing your address book to Anything, except via LDAP, which is incompatible for syncing with most devices, and where it can sync it is mostly one direction only (updates not sync'd back to fastmail servers). I sync my outlook contacts to Gmail via GSyncit, then to my phone over Gmail. But nothing syncs with Fastmail. |
