Perhaps it is Killer.. I always thought it was the smiley you insert to say "oops I goofed, I made an error type of thing", but you may be correct.

I am on another couple of forums that actually have a cute pink faced smiley that moves and it really embarrassed, turning brighter red, and it is really cute.

Yeah, I thought it was like an "oops I goofed smiley"..and I notice people tend to use it for that quite a bit.
