Spam Folder

Why I don't get the number of email that are in the spam folder?

Sometimes I don't even know that I have emails in that folder.

How can it be fixed?

One way is to create a label called "Spam". It will appear with your other labels, but is really synonomous with your Spam folder. That way, you can see how many Spam messages you have at any time without having to go into the folder.

I would advice, however, that you deal with the Spam messages through the folder and not the label. That way you can use the "not spam" button on false-positive messages and it should train the filter.
