Makes sense. I can't find any word from Rob & Jeremy since that one 3 days ago, so I guess they haven't figured out a solution yet....

This is very true. The situation is getting beyond a joke. The comments about 'several threads being started for every outage' and 'the only reason you know about them is because of this open forum' are looking increasingly weak.

Comments defending FM are looking more and more like the old solution of "there is no problem if we choose to ignore it".

For instance how many people on this thread can remember the last time this site was down? I can't, and perhaps that should say something (although I am a relatively new member). Would anyone care for a poll - "Is fastmail mopre/less stable than emailaddresses.com ?".

It needs to be sorted out by providing a stable, reliable and accessible service, especially in view of the fact that most of us pay for it.

Fastmail is still working fine for me since I last posted. I have just sent, received and erased two email by the web interface with no interruptions

FastMail seems to be back up for me, and has been so for close to 10 minutes now.

Larry, call me stupid, but I don't get your point.

Are you saying you think FastMail is (God forbids) unstable? What is "it", that needs sorting out?

imho 'it' is FM and its reliability.

I think that reliability is as important as it being great in all other respects.

No F1 car ever won the world championship by being faster than an unleaden European swallow when it worked and smouldering in the pits for a couple of minutes each race when it didn't.
