Sub-folder question

Hi,
I just wanted to know if there was a way of creating multiple sub-folders within one folder. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

If you name a folder as INBOX.subfoldername, then it will create a subfolder of INBOX. Same with any other folder.

Plagiarised the FM site here:

You can create sub-folders by using a '.' (fullstop) to separate folder levels. For instance, to create a sub-folder of 'toplevel', use the name 'toplevel.subname'.

See folders page in options.

Re:sub-folders

I was able to create a sub-folder within a folder, but I would like to create two or three sub-folders within one folder. Is that possible? Sorry for not being clear enough.

If we have a toplevel folder we can create any number of subfolders by entering names toplevel.subfolder1 and toplevel.subfolder2,... etc.

If we need to create subfolders within subfolders then we can use toplevel.subfolder1.subsubfolder1, and so on.

Before creating subfolders, the parent folder must exist. I'm not sure what the limit, if any, is on the subfolder depth.

It is. Just repeat the process for the second, third, etc folders.

Like this:

Folder1
....subfolder1
....subfolder2
....subfolder3
....subfolder4

So...when you are adding these folders, you would type:

Folder1.subfolder1
Folder1.subfolder2
Folder1.subfolder3
Folder1.subfolder4

Just like redmyrlin said...I just set up a different visual.
