You just need to PEEK at the post before
the last one.
Rule #7: Words may be repeated, but not on same page.

yes ... though not in fact just the immediately preceding post ... you might have to //Seek// as far back as the top of the current page


(Personally I think rule 7 was poorly worded; I think it should apply to the last page-worth's of posts - so the last 15. It shouldn't be legit (in the most flagrant instance of this rule not being thought-out properly) to make the first post on a new page identical to the last one on the previous page.)

When one composes a reply on a thread one SEES the last 15 posts if one scrolls down (perhaps the number is configurable?) Then one should try to avoid the words used in these 15 posts. Sometimes I check several pages back because the game is less interesting if it repeats itself.
