It's RARE for a dormouse to make a stage appearance, so I bet this was a common house mouse (Mus musculus).

I DARE to draw your attention to this BBC news item, describing Prince William's [second in the line of succession to the British throne] wish for two children.
In particular, what is the real significance of the phrase "with his wife" in the first sentence??

William has W on the SOLE of his shoes. I wonder if Kate has diamonds on the sole of her shoes.

My ancestors decided to COME to America due to the antics of the monarchies in Europe. So I largely ignore the antics of all monarchs unless it affects the foreign relations of their country. Only through a web search could I come up with any useful knowledge about those royals.

CAPE Verde is one of many countries which do very well without a monarch.

In the CASE of Sweden or Norway the monarchy does the country no harm. Whether it does any good is a different question....

One of the world's largest engineering companies, ASEA Brown Boveri has its headquarters in a staunchly republican country.

If one flies by the SEAT of his pants, one can live many places, with nary a monarch in sight
