The ad-free level offers
two aliases at two additional domains (additional to the main account name, that is) as long as those aliases have the
same username as the main account name. Well, I'm wondering... Since the Ad-Free level is a premium account level after all (albeit a 'lite' one), could FM modify things just slightly in the interests of its paying users' security ? Specifically, could FM allow for all Ad-Free subscribers to have an account username that is
different from those used for the two aliases, while still requiring that the aliases themselves both have the same username ? This would allow users to have a private, login-only account/username (which many email users like to have) while maintaining the restrictions of having only two, identically-named aliases available to them.
FWIW, I presently have a family account good through 2011, so I'm not really asking for myself at the moment. But in the event I
would actually need to downgrade from that level (for financial reasons) it would be nice to know that the service I would still be paying for would have this feature in place in the interest of (premium) user account privacy.
