backlogged delivery today?

I'm getting messages sent this morning just showing up this evening - and its been happening most of the day, though new emails seem to be coming right through.

Is there a known backlog problem or should I be looking at my upstream redirectors (i.e. www.pobox.com)?

Its OK here is Australia and the servers are in the US, it took 3 seconds to send a test e-mail from my local isp to fastmail.
