I don't remember changing any settings...

hmm.. I tried using the (small) 90% zoom on the font size and the problem disappeared. Still, I would prefer to use the normal size without this problem.

okay.. I figured out that this is only an issue with Mozilla, since the messages appear just fine in Internet Explorer.

I guess Gmail just doesn't gel well with Mozilla? I hope they fix this...
