SOAP Problem?
 

This may not be a Fastmail problem, but rather a FastCheck problem. I've already posted in the FastCheck forum.

It seems that FastCheck has suddenly stopped working for several people. Here's the FastCheck forum discussion: http://www.fastcheck.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=10815

I tried uninstalling FastCheck and installing a previous version, but the problem persists. My login log shows soap/fastcheck is failing as of today, January 5, 2011. Is there any possibility that the problem could be on FastMail's end?

Mine hasn't been working all day yesterday (US time for the 4th). Usually when this happens there was a change in FM and Rob works with Eric to get it working again. Hopefully that happens soon because I really miss FC working. :)

FastCheck is now working, at least for me. "Thanks" for fixing it FM or Eric (or both). If it wasn't fixed then I'm sure glad it magically fixed itself. :)

Yeah, this should be fixed now. Basically it was related to a recent change in the code, which was supported by all other parts except for SOAP. That has been fixed now.

Yes, there was a problem on the server side affecting some users (not me, so that's why I didn't notice faster). It should be fixed now.

The problem is indeed fixed. People who posted at the FastCheck forum (see link above) are now happy again.

I just want to say thank you very much to everyone who worked on fixing this problem. You never realize how much you depend on a little utility like FastCheck until it stops working.
