You think me a LOON? ;)
Two vowels is the limit for similar words I can imagine. Perhaps a later poster can come up with a three vowel four letter word. I can think of agee, aura, avia (Latin), eire, and a few others.

CyberSmurf 19 Aug 2009 11:13 AM

A LONE vowel was all I wanted. . . . :(

;)

n5bb 19 Aug 2009 11:30 AM

LONG only contains one vowel. :D

janusz 19 Aug 2009 03:26 PM

So does GONG,,,

CyberSmurf 19 Aug 2009 03:52 PM

Does your gong go "BONG"?

janusz 19 Aug 2009 05:33 PM

Sure. Since the Big BANG time at least :)

n5bb 20 Aug 2009 12:52 AM

You RANG?
.........

Malc 44 20 Aug 2009 06:11 AM

I SANG, somebody else must have rang!

janusz 20 Aug 2009 03:06 PM

Is it a SANE policy to keep jumping from one subject to another so often?

n5bb 20 Aug 2009 03:37 PM

After a while your concern will WANE.

CyberSmurf 21 Aug 2009 10:39 AM

Open a bottle of WINE, and we'll toast the mice, superheros, and horses that came before.

n5bb 21 Aug 2009 02:33 PM

Just don't toast too often, or they will classify you as a WINO.

janusz 21 Aug 2009 04:04 PM

... together with your TWIN brother, who is a teetotaller, so does not deserve such an epithet.

Malc 44 22 Aug 2009 06:06 AM

CyberSmurf has a twin brother? ...is this a WIND up?

n5bb 22 Aug 2009 08:29 AM

Where do we FIND the twin -- or is it a doppelganger?

CyberSmurf 22 Aug 2009 04:34 PM

Actually I do have a twin brother than I'm rather FOND of.

janusz 22 Aug 2009 04:58 PM

Did your parents set up a special offshore FUND for the twin boys?

CyberSmurf 22 Aug 2009 07:00 PM

Our family never had to FEND off accusations of wealth.

n5bb 23 Aug 2009 03:49 AM

So they didn't SEND a lot of funds into secret Swiss bank accounts?

CyberSmurf 23 Aug 2009 03:53 AM

No, Dad barely had enough money to TEND to our needs at home.

janusz 23 Aug 2009 05:06 AM

n55b tried to BEND the rules, transforming tend into tiny, so I'm ignoring his/her post :p

n5bb 23 Aug 2009 06:00 AM

My mistake wasn't tiny, so I decided to REND that erroneous post.

janusz 23 Aug 2009 02:34 PM

Apology READ and accepted

n5bb 23 Aug 2009 11:20 PM

That post is DEAD and gone.

Malc 44 25 Aug 2009 05:49 AM

Just as well! ..it went down like a LEAD balloon!

n5bb 25 Aug 2009 01:10 PM

Thump -- a hard blow to the HEAD and down I go.

janusz 25 Aug 2009 04:12 PM

.... and land on the garden SHED

n5bb 25 Aug 2009 09:05 PM

overturning a bag of SEED

janusz 26 Aug 2009 12:40 AM

And all that because you did not take HEED of the 'do not lean out' notice in the baloon

Malc 44 26 Aug 2009 04:00 AM

I'll bet he really didn't NEED you to tell him that

janusz 27 Aug 2009 03:53 AM

Contrariwise: I expected a MEED of gratitude ....

Malc 44 27 Aug 2009 06:30 AM

that would have been a MEEK thing to do

n5bb 27 Aug 2009 10:40 AM

But would it be the GEEK thing to do?

Okay, I had to SEEK "meed" in the dictionary.

n5bb 27 Aug 2009 11:43 AM

So you had to PEEK in the dictionary? That's definitely a geek thing to do!

CyberSmurf 27 Aug 2009 11:48 AM

I had to PEER through all the clutter to get to the definitions.

n5bb 27 Aug 2009 12:37 PM

Grab a BEER and all will be better.

janusz 27 Aug 2009 01:51 PM

unless a BEAR grabs you.... But I'm sure Batman will come to the rescue in this unfortunate case

Boom 27 Aug 2009 07:50 PM

Then you should hope he is NEAR you. Since he sold his Batmobile, he has to get there on his cane.

n5bb 28 Aug 2009 11:20 AM

I HEAR you.
