BARN dance music is likely the most horrible music to listen to.

Since I was BORN and have always lived in Texas, my musical tastes are rather broad (Bob Wills, Janis Joplin, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Spoon).

Some music can certainly BORE some people so much that they might fall asleep listenning to it.

The choice of music is still a BONE of contention in this thread, even though we discussed this matter before.

But doesn't such a discussion help us to BOND?

Sometimes it drives me round the BEND...

It is oft times said that music can soothe the soul and send you to heaven.

While a good friend may lend you an ear or a shoulder to help soothe your soul, a TRUE friend will be sittting next to you in the cell exclaiming, 'Whoa, that was alot of fun!!'

In your TOUR of life, you might find Lazy Street adjacent to Easy Street. But this isn't guaranteed. ;)

The ROLE of music is multi-faceted; enjoyment, entertainment, soothing us, etc.

If I just had a MOLE of platinum every time I heard about the soothing power of music ...

There will be many MORE types of music coming out over the years, I am sure. The Eightie's music is still classic and awesome, I think, and my kids love it too... !!

You could make a homemade instrument of sorts putting a BEAN or two (likely a lot more then that ofcourse) in a container and shaking it.

Methinks that I would very soon be a has been musical entrepreneur if I did that ;)

This homemade contraption full of beans (organic of course) would sound like the BREN gun.

If you open your cupboard and can't find any BRAN, sing out "Hand me down that can o'beans" (lyrics).

May be bran can be imported from ORAN, though probably in boxes too large for the domestic cupboard. OTOH, the size of Texan cupboards is likely to be well above the world average:)

You can buy a large cupboard in OMAN. So ya'll don't need to travel over here to Texas if you live in the middle east. If you still decide to come and visit our big 'ol state, we do have some big maps to help you find your away around our big state (in a very big map cupboard). As Big Tex at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas would say, "Howdy, Folks! Everything is big here in Texas."

The (male) author says that: "Many comics still unfortunately draw women with incredibly large breasts. If they get knocked over they fall in a different way to men".
